Connect your weather station via Wi-fi to the weatherlink cloud and get near real time data to your phone or PC, anywhere you are.
How does it work?
Create a custom network of sensors using up to eight of Davis transmitters in any combination: Vantage Vue Sensor Suites, Vantage Pro 2 Sensor Suites, Sensor Transmitters and Wireless Leaf and Soil Moisture/Temperature stations.
WeatherLink Live receives data wirelessly from the sensor transmitters using their spread-spectrum radio with a range of up to 300 metres. The WeatherLink Live then relays data to Davis' website, www.weatherlink.com, via your Wi-Fi system or the supplied Ethernet cable.
Once online, your data can be accessed via the website or on your phone.
What is in the box?
The WeatherLink Live comes with a USB cable, a NZ power adaptor and an Ethernet cable.
Notes:
There are Davis sensors to measure rainfall, air/water temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, UV, leaf moisture, soil temperature and soil moisture.
WeatherLink Live is compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant
WeatherLink Live can be used alongside a Davis Instrument wireless console, but a console and/or data logger is not required.
Set up is done using the free Davis Instruments WeatherLink app (for Android and iOS).
You do need an account with www.weatherlink.com. Joining and using the basic tier of the website is free and gives you access to your current or most recent data.
If you wish to access your historic data, or utilize charts and graphing features, you will need the paid Pro Tier of www.weatherlink.com. You can subscribe by paying a fee via the website or purchase a 12 or 36 month subscription from us (or longer - please contact us if you wish to lock in a subscription price)
WeatherLink Live is not compatible with cabled Davis sensor suites.
